2 Sep - Arrived at Willow Lake Campground at Geneva OH

2 Sep

We departed Letchworth State Park NY and arrived at our next stop, Willow Lake Campground at Geneva OH at 14:22 hrs, driving 270 miles.

A few stats:
Travel miles: 4789 miles
Vicinity miles:  6626 miles
Total miles:  11415 miles
Average travel miles on travel days:  171 miles
Average travel time on travel days:  3:58
Average vicinity miles:  255 miles
Total fuel purchased:  $1985.44
Total gals fuel:  862.32 gal
Average fuel cost:  $2.304

The campground is a commercial campground, vs a state park or military campground so it is a little more expensive but nice.  We are in a 70 ft long pull-through with 50 amp electric and full hookup.  We are on an end spot, which is very  nice since we have a clear view to the west.

The campground has a nice duck pond

Quite a few trees provide some shade, but I was able to see the Directv satellites OK

Our end spot
We will be here for four nights, departing 6 Sep.  Saturday we plan to go to Cleveland (~1 hr drive) and see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and up to five light houses.  Sunday we plan to visit a winery here and then our Air Force buddy Ernie Reid is driving up from the Columbus area and then we will all go to a Cleveland Indians baseball game.  Monday we will probably visit Lake Erie and drive the coastline, stop at shops, etc and pack to leave the next morning.
